Clothed - Wearing Who You Are

What does it truly mean to wear a new identity? This message dives deep into one of the most practical and challenging aspects of the Christian life: the daily choice to take off the old and put on the new. Drawing from Ephesians 4:17-32, we explore how Paul paints a vivid picture of two completely different ways of living. One rooted in darkness, futile thinking, and hardened hearts, and the other rooted in truth, renewal, and the character of Christ. The central insight is both simple and profound: our transformation in Christ is real and complete, yet we are still called to actively participate in living it out. Justification is a finished work, but sanctification is an ongoing journey that requires our daily engagement. The old garments of anger, bitterness, dishonesty, and unforgiveness no longer belong to us, and yet we sometimes reach back for them out of habit or comfort. This message challenges us to recognize those moments and make a different choice, one that aligns with who we have already become in Christ.
