Our Story

How it all started...

Greater Grace Christian Fellowship (GGCF) started holding Sunday morning services in a local elementary school in 2006, under the direction of Pastor Shibley. Across town, Pastor Zeke and Inspiration Community Church (ICC) started meeting in a different elementary school in 2013. In 2018, GGCF moved into its permanent location on Spruell Drive. After the pandemic hit, Pastor Shibley and Pastor Zeke, who had formed a friendship in 2019, discussed doing church together, since ICC could no longer meet in a school. By the spring of 2021, the two churches enjoyed meeting together so much, that they officially merged and re-launched as Greater Grace Community Church (GGCC) in September of that year.

Expanding the Ministry...

With the resources of two churches joined as one, GGCC now offers two services on Sunday mornings, so that no one has to worship in an overcrowded space. We've built an accessibility ramp and paved the parking lot to make the facility safer and more welcoming for all attenders. We collaborate with two other local churches to run a monthly youth rally for MS and HS students, and we've expanded our Sunday morning children's program to provide better care for children under the age of 13.

Where we are headed...

We still have room to grow! We are working hard to make GGCC a place where more new people and long-time followers of Jesus can explore faith in a safe, caring atmosphere. We want to be a place where people can use their gifts and talents to make a difference for the Lord. We want to be a community that is known to the community-at-large as a place of hope and love. Join us on the journey!
